From farm to table authentic Thai food

It's like a big family in a small home.

Located in a small and quiet Brooklyn neighborhood two blocks away from Church Avenue, near the F and G subway, Thai Farm Kitchen brings authentic from organic farm to table Thai food with a warm energy and a picturesque setting. As I arrived into a packed restaurant on a Monday evening, I was quickly seated right away by the courteous staff and friendly owner Jess.

The beautiful decor immediately makes you feel comfortable and unwind in a cozy zen environment with good vibes and most importantly good food. The hand picked decor is all imported from Thailand. To begin with, I started with the “Yum Ma Maung” mango papaya salad, the perfect summer salad and just the right combination of sweetness, acidity, and texture from the red onion, mango, and peanuts served in a mortar. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are and the herbs are imported from Thailand.

Moving on to the next two dishes, my boyfriend had the “Pad Krapow” with basil chicken and seasoned with imported herbs from Thailand including basil, chili, and served with organic bell peppers and an egg. It’s beautiful plated in two three little portions to get a taste of each of the individual flavors that linger in your mouth. I had the Vegan Green Curry that complimented the creaminess of the coconut with seasoned vegetables. It’s not always easy dining or cooking with my vegetarian and vegan lifestyle, but Thai Farm Kitchen offers both options that are full of flavor and served in unique plates and gold plated utensils.

Don’t forget to step in during the lunch hours from 11:30am-4pm for only $12.95 which includes an appetizer, soup, entree, and dessert of the day. Served in a three decker containers for a beautiful presentation with gold utensils.  Owner Jesse says, “It’s like a big family in a small home.” A humble, warm energy, and he regularly greets customers and checks in on them. Thai Farm Kitchen is a restaurant that is here to stay in Kensington, Brooklyn, it’s a golden find in the heart of a small neighborhood.

Product Review

The Digestive and Immune Health contains a plant based L. Casei K-1 probiotic with flaxseed, olive oil, spirulina to health with intestinal health and immunity. Christa Alexis loves this product because it's great for traveling and gives her a boost to help her with digestion for those "unhealthy" days. All of these ingredients help with her beauty  and skin care routine. She eats a lot of olives and makes homemade olive oil based salad dressing to help keep her youthful skin and give an extra glow. SHO gives her the essential ingredients for her to stay healthy and positive.

Energy Metabolism - Christa Alexis would often spend more time trying to separate her B vitamins, but now she can easily take B12, B6, and B9 all in one easy Spheri-Gel capsule. With working, going to college, and running a blog, she often finds herself in the "afternoon slump" or days where she isn't motivated to go to the gym. Christa Alexis takes one vegan supplement before hitting up the gym to give her that little extra boost.  It helps her to stay focused and to get more tasks done without those caffeine jitters. She finds herself able to focus more and to find time for exercising, school work, organizing and cleaning, and maintaining a social life.

Both products are super easy to keep track of with an easy turnable dispenser with days of the week for a busy person. Don't worry about those rough vitamins that you need to cut up, these are spheri-gels that are easy to swallow. Christa Alexis is a health food blogger.
